This seminar educates parents with children from birth to 5 years old regarding special education and the law. Cara Lucier, Esq., explains the legal distinctions between early intervention services and special education services. Parents also learn what to expect during the transition process and how to effectively access appropriate services for their child. This seminar is also helpful for parents whose children may not have received early intervention services, but may be eligible for an Individualized Education Program (IEP).

This seminar is designed for parents whose children are 14 or older and are preparing for their child's transition to adulthood.  This 2-hour training reviews the components of the Transition Plan, discusses the laws that govern the transition to adulthood for youth and adults with special needs and provides important information regarding the decisions parents and their child will make during the process.
