COMPASS Family center is proud to present world-renowned jazz pianist, Matt Savage, in concert at the Birch North Park Theatre on June 4th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. He will be accompanied by Bob Magnusson on bass and Duncan Moore on drums. VIP reception to follow at 4:00 p.m. to include refreshments, appetizers and the opportunity to meet Mr. Savage.

About Matt Savage
Now 18, Matt has been connected with some of the biggest names in jazz since first labeled a “jazz prodigy” at age 8.  Diagnosed at age 3 with high-functioning autism, Matt is considered a savant. He has performed (on stage and in jam sessions) with Chick Corea, the Ellington All Stars, Chaka Khan, Wynton Marsalis, Jason Moran, Arturo O’Farrill, John Pizzarelli, Joshua Redman and The Bad Plus. Matt’s most recent appearances include Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Marian McPartland’s prestigious Piano Jazz series on NPR and The Late Show with David Letterman.
